1970 Karmann Ghia with a ROCKET Engine!

California Car -
1970 Karmann Ghia needs a little body work then paint but no rust,
except where the battery was on the floor behind driver’s seat.
Interior pretty much gutted, needs seats, ceiling, door panels, etc.

Engine is bullet proof!
20,000 miles on completely rebuilt 2.7 Porsche 911 Engine and 5 speed transmission

Details:
Engine head studs and case saved
New nitrated crank
New balanced rods
Bearings balanced
New Mahle pistons and cylinders all within ½ gram
Heads fly cut to exact o.c. balance
New valves, seats, guides, springs.
Cams stock
All new chains and sprockets
New style tensioners
New 215mm clutch and pressure plate with lighter flywheel
Rebuilt alternator
Racing heat deflector under p&c racing distributor
Two 3-barrel Solex carbs jetted and bigger venturii
Transmission all new main shaft bearing and synchro seals
Transmission case modified to fit mounts for any air-cooled VW with CV joints 1968-up
Oil kept spotless
205 Michelin tires good
New battery and front pads

Car is a rocket! I had it up to 160mph, it wanted to go more but I got scared – that was fast enough for me!
