$115K for a crusty dodge pickup?

"Electra-Van 1000P
You are bidding on one Jet Industries Electra-Van 1000P. This vehicle was displayed at the 1982 Worlds Fair in Knoxville, Tennessee themed "Energy Turns the World". The vehicle is a 1982 Chrysler pick-up truck that was converted to electric propulsion by Jet Industries formerly of Austin,TX, only 30 of these vehicles were ever produced. The vehicle has a wheelbase of 9.58 ft., a curb weight of 4790lb, and has the capacity for a 1000 lb payload including two people. The vehicle has a General Electric EV-1 SCR controller. The propulsion motor is a General Electric d.c. motor, 37-hp series-wound rated at 2039r/min. The 1000p has a standard Chrysler trans axle with a manual 3-speed transmission. The vehicle has leaf springs and piston-type shocks, disc brakes in the front and drum in the rear.
This piece of EV and World's Fair history desperately needs restoring. There are no batteries with this vehicle. The vehicle has not been run in some time so it is not known what needs replacing to get the vehicle to operate properly. There is also quite a lot of rust on the lower part of the vehicle. The tail gate has been replaced with a Dodge tail gate which fits perfectly. The interior is in excellent shape and should only need some minor repairs and a lot of cleaning. Also included in this auction are an original Electra Van Maintenance and Repair Manual and two U.S. Army mobility equipment research and development command reports on the Electra Van 1000p and model 1000. The VIN# for this vehicle is : D14AN9S57190
Buyer is responsible for pick up of the vehicle from the Augusta, GA area."
